They have finished the works! Ever since we moved to Moscow, visiting this site was on our wish list so we are really happy we finally had the opportunity to do so.
This little pearl between the churches on Varvarka street, is situated in the new Zaryadye Park. Visiting this house gives you an impression of the patriarchal life of the 16th-17th century Moscow boyars. They have recreated the interiors - both residential and household, furniture of that time, household items and personal items, clothing and utensils, tile stoves, embossed leather, chests, old books, fabrics and more. We were impressed by the coziness of the rooms and the small and steep stairs.
Since it is a small museum, we can also recommend to visit with children.
Great outing to combine with the virtual 'Flight over Moscow' in the Mediacenter of the park. Kids love this but must be minimum 120 cm tall. https://www.zaryadyepark.ru/en/schedule/11925/in
