In the most aristocratic quarter of the pre-revolutionary Moscow - Prechistenka - balls and dinners filled the lives of idle nobles one day.

During 1.5 hours we are going to learn about:

- paying compulsory social visits quickly and with zero headache;

- 1700ss foreign travelers' opinion about Moscow and the Russians' - about London;

- an American dancer trying to make ballet in revolutionary Russia more 'natural';

- a stray dog transformed into a brutal proletarian.

After abolition of serfdom aristocrats had been gradually replaced from this street by merchants and entrepreneurs and after 1917 the latter had to give way to the new ruling class...
