Grilled lamb & greens - on a pita

Original & Middle Eastern fast food with a fresh&healthy touch. Use high quality lamb fillet and you can't go wrong with this dish!

Serves 2 people


Ingredients

300 gr lamb fillet (Moscow Fresh or Meat-Cheese-Wine: "Patriarchy delicacy stores")

2 teaspoons harissa or chilli paste (Metro)

2 pita buns

2 lemons

2 teaspoons fresh chopped oregano

handful mint

spinach salad

2 tomatoes (sweet Uzbekistan from Moscow fresh)

baba ganoush (grilled eggplant paste, from Metro)


For the lamb fillet you can use any of the boneless pieces of lamb from the "Meat-Cheese-Wine" shop in Patriarchy Pond. Put the meat in a flat bowl. Mix the harissa, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 teaspoons of chopped oregano, 1 tablespoon olive oil and salt&pepper and add to the bowl. Marinate for 15 minutes.


Heat a grill pan on medium to high heat and grill the pita bread on each side for 1 minute. Put them aside on a plate. Then grill the meat 4 minutes on each side until crispy outside and medium cooked inside.


Add the baba ganoush, spinach salad , sliced tomato & mint on top of the pita and sprinkle with olive oil. Slice the meat and add to the pita. Serve with some lemon.
