Hite - the best Korean barbecue!

FAMILY DINNER - DINNER WITH FRIENDS - SOCIAL - GREAT ATMOSPHERE

Hite is the best restaurant in Moscow for Korean barbecue according to one of our Korean friends. Making Korean barbecue on your table - is a very nice social and relaxed way to spend an evening with your family or friends.

We had a family dinner on a Saturday night at Hite restaurant on Ulitsa 1905 goda. The atmosphere at Hite was very similar to a few nice Korean restaurants we enjoyed in Tokyo and New York. It was simple, relaxed and busy. We spotted a lot of Korean people, always a good sign. We were seated in a semi-private area on the second floor, which is nice for bigger groups. The downstairs area was more lively.

For starters we enjoyed fried dumplings with shrimps and steamed dumplings with pork. Both taste and texture was great. For barbecue, we ordered an assortment of pork and beef. We were surprised that we liked the pork more. The meat was served with crispy lettuce, garlic and red pepper sauces and a wide assortment of kimchi (pickles and small bites) where everybody could find something they liked. In our family we have both spicy food lovers and haters. Luckily, Korean barbecue could please both. The spiciness in in sauces and pickles which you can add or avoid.

The service was very attentive and helpful, we could choose ourselves on how much assistance and advice we needed for our barbecuing. And we liked the very efficient and silent extractor fan over our table.

Enjoy!
