Nordic walks around Moscow

Updated: Aug 30

Don't miss a chance to meet new people, explore the parts of Moscow far out of the Garden Ring and get a decent portion of physical activity each Saturday morning!

I will help you to learn walking with Nordic poles which makes the activity super efficient. The poles will be provided. During the walk, which usually lasts about 2.5 hours and runs through parks and along embankments, we visit some famous points of interest such as Kuskovo and Tsaritsyno estates, Izmaylovo, VDNKh, the Aqueduct, or less obvious sights like residential districts of different decades, a village inside Moscow, or the Canal which brings the Volga water to Moscow...

The routes continue one another, and every time we start from almost the same point we have left off last time. So, after completing the full circle, you can confidently say you have walked around the entire Moscow (and you will get a certificate!).

To join, write at tips@moscowliving.org. Cost is 1200 rub (1000 with your own poles).
