BAR - WEEKEND - COCKTAILS - BIG WINE MENU
This small bar directly at Patriarchy Pond is really recommendable. We like to go there on the weekend after a restaurant visit, to let the evening come to an end. But also during the week it is very nice here. In the summer time, you can even sit outside on the small front deck and watch the colourful hustle and bustle in the park with a drink in your hand.
The bar itself is quite small and looks a little inconspicuous from the outside, but its appearance changes drastically when entering the interior. The bar looks super stylish and it feels immediately comfortable, because of the marble tables, the sofas and the modern design of the wooden walls. The bar has two areas, a rear area with 4 regular tables, sofas and chairs, where it is a little more quiet. The front area is a bit louder and has more of a bar character, as you either stand or sit at one of the two tables or the bar.
From here you can watch how the delicious cocktails get prepared. But those who do not feel like having cocktails will surely find something on the big wine menu or can simply order some beer. Furthermore, food is also offered. We liked the different ciabattas, the cold cut platter and the tuna tartar with avocado.
The prices are all very fair, especially for wine. And the waitresses are all very friendly and some of them speak very well English.
The only drawback is that you can't make a reservation, but since you can enjoy your drink standing up, we don't think it's that bad and most of the time you get a table after a short waiting time.
We hope we could get you into the weekend mood. Have fun and enjoy testing it.
