Restaurants with a view - top 6

Updated: Mar 18, 2019

Sometimes you're specifically looking for a restaurant with a view. If you want to show your guests or visitors the magnitude and beauty of Moscow, taking them to a sky restaurant is a great idea. Do realize that these are often not the best and cheapest restaurants in town and they can be quite arrogant when reserving a table but sometimes the view is just worth it!

1- White Rabbit

White Rabbit is a bit classical, but original and the quality of the food is always good. It is voted as the world 23rd best restaurant, and sitting under their glass roof is hard to beat when you want to impress guests! And don't forget to visit

their terrace in summer.

Location: Smolenskaya

2- Karlsson

Karlsson restaurant has probably the best view on the Moskva river and the Kremlin grounds. From the restaurant and the huge terrace you will see Moscow by night at it's best. The food is ok, not impressive, but the setting is more than great!

Location: Tretyakov Gallery area at the river

3- Buono

Probably the best Italian in town, but definitely not the cheapest and quite formal. Make sure you make a reservation in the outside ring of the restaurant to be able to enjoy the view. Order the crab linguini, it's heavenly!

Location: Radisson Royal (Ukrain Hotel)

4- Ruski

On the 84th floor, this restaurant has a beautiful view over Moscow. The food is Russian with a modern twist. Drinking Vodka and eating caviar while wearing a fur coat in the ice bar is a true experience for you and your visitors.

Location: Moscow City

5- Insight

Although this place has a very cool atmosphere, high quality food and stunning view, it is highly overpriced. Their sushi is great and don't forget the burrata. Even though the value for money is out of balance, it is a cool experience that turns into a night club after 23.30.

Location: Moscow City

6- Sixty

Impressive; funky interior, great views from the 60th floor, nice food. The downside is that it feels a bit like a tourist trap when every hour corny music starts to play and the windows open. The result is a 10 minute crowded selfie session. So think twice about a window table ;)
