SKIING - SNOWBOARDING - RENTAL - CLASSES - SKI STORE - RESTAURANT
If you're looking for a decent indoor ski slope, "Snejkom" is definitely your best option. The snow is not perfect but this is a pretty good venue in Moscow for year round skiing. It has a beginner rope lift for the little ones, a towing lift and a chair lift. And they even have a small free style area.
You can just go for a couple of runs but there are also ski competition teams and a wide variety of instructors, some of which speak English. For us this was a great way to let our kids learn skiing as we varied private lessons with family fun visits.
You don't have to bring your own equipment as they have a decent rental office where you can rent all gear and clothes. And their "Austrian hut" style restaurant is not bad for a pizza afterwards!
Prices are reasonable with 700-1100RB for adults and 450-600RB for kids, depending on weekdays or weekend visits. They also offer subscriptions which are a good option if you plan on visiting regularly. A private intstructor will cost 1650-2000RB per hour, but don't forget to reserve an instructor up front. And try to go early as it tends to get crowded in the afternoon.
When there is enough natural snow and if you have a bit more time to spend check out one of the nearby ski areas for a day or weekend trip: https://www.moscowliving.org/post/best-ski-areas-in-around-moscow
