Where to buy good cheese in Moscow?
Syrniy Sommelier (Сырный сомелье) has five stores in Moscow and an online-shop with the next day delivery (or even the same day if the order is placed before noon). Delivery is free for orders over 2000 rubles. In their shops they can give any cheese to sample.
Camembert, Brie, Gorgonzola, Cheddar, Parmesan, Raclette and other classical types of cheese from Russia, Switzerland, Belarus and some South American countries can be tasted and bought here. The shop also sells confiture, fruit mustard and honey to accompany the cheese.
After Russia has stopped importing agricultural goods from the EU (in 2014), the local cheese makers were challenged to catch up with the leading European manufacturers. In 2019 at Fromonval competition in France Russian cheese makers won eight medals.
Their cheese can hardly be found in chain supermarkets. Usually you should order its delivery online or you can come to Sirniy Sommelier and sample the cheeses before purchase.
Prices... are not low. They are comparable to Swiss cheese price in Moscow supermarkets - about 250 rub per 100 grams. Be aware that the prices on the website are for 0.1 kg!

Belorusskaya metro - 3rd street of Yamskogo Polya 2k13
